Tankhouse is a Brooklyn-based real estate development firm with over 30 years of collective experience in architecture, urban planning, development, and construction. Formed in 2013 by partners Sam Alison-Mayne and Sebastian Mendez, Tankhouse was built on the belief that design and development are symbiotic disciplines, and the best results emerge from an integrated and holistic approach.

SO–IL was born in New York in 2008. Diverse in origin, our team of collaborators speaks a dozen languages and is informed by global narratives and perspectives. We are both locally-rooted and nationless, coming together as a mid-size, well-recognized company. With our ambitious private and public clients, we explore how the creation of environments and objects inspires lasting positive intellectual and societal engagement. We have completed projects in places such as Leon (MX), Seoul, and Lisbon, as well as our hometown, Brooklyn, New York.
Kane AUD
Architect of Record
Ted Kane is the founder and design director of Kane AUD a NYC based architecture and urban design practice he established in 2012. Kane AUD approaches its work with desire for making more than just great buildings but also for bringing a consideration of the areas around them. Ted has over 20 years of architectural experience including residential, commercial and cultural projects. Prior to establishing his office, Ted spent 12 years as a project architect at Morphosis working in Los Angeles and Shanghai on numerous award-winning projects.

Landscape Design
Landscape, planting and ecosystem designer Marie Salembier, founder of Rewild Landscape, has contributed to some of the most important landscape architecture projects of the decade. With designs ranging from urban landmark Rockefeller Center, world-renown park Houston Botanic Gardens, luxury rooftop Cartier Soho boutique and The Surrey (hotel - opening at the end of 2024), Salembier creates beauty in juxtaposing clean architectural lines with rich and wild planting. Her process centers around Rewilding - designing a plant palette to promote and nurture healthy ecosystems, layering textures and colors for year-round spectacles.

Julia Watson’s eponymously named studio based in Brooklyn, NY, foregrounds traditional knowledge, sustainability and nature-based innovation. An Australian born, award-winning author, educator, landscape designer, and expert on traditional and indigenous technologies, Watson focuses her work at the intersection of anthropology, ecology and innovation. Named by Wallpaper* in 2023 and 2024, as one of the 300 people defining creative America, and is the 2024 recipient of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art’s Arthur Ross Award for lifetime achievement in Education, Watson forms meaningful and memorable collaborations with artists, educators, designers, and communities, to explore how indigeneity grounds itself in the contemporary practice of landscape architecture and urbanism.
